Job Title: Senior RF Design Engineer
Position Summary
Our client is seeking an experienced Senior RF Design Engineer to lead the design and development of advanced RF circuits and systems from concept through to production. This role involves hands-on circuit design, system-level analysis, and providing RF engineering support to cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical expertise and a passion for innovation in the development of navigation aid technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the technical design and development of RF systems and subsystems for navigation aids.
Write technical specifications and system requirements for RF components and circuits.
Design and develop RF circuitry including receivers, synthesizers, and transmitters operating in the microwave frequency range.
Develop and tune RF components such as filters, couplers, power dividers, oscillators, and low-noise amplifiers.
Generate schematics, perform component placement, and collaborate on PCB layout.
Conduct system-level analysis including link budgets, statistical performance, and thermal modeling.
Support lab testing and validation of RF systems using standard RF test equipment.
Participate in design reviews and contribute to documentation and continuous improvement efforts.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical field.
Minimum of 8+ years of engineering experience, including 5+ years in RF design.
Proficiency in operating RF test equipment such as oscilloscopes, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and signal generators.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in RF circuit/component-level design and RF propagation within communication systems.
Hands-on experience with RF and analog simulation tools (e.g., ADS, HFSS, CST, or equivalent).
Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with schematic capture and PCB layout tools.
