Akkodis is recruiting for a Systems Integration Engineer for an aerospace manufacturer in the Grand Rapids, MI area. This is a contract position with a pay range of $75 an hour to $90 an hour, and per diem, depending on experience, education and location.
TS or S cleared (TS highly preferred) government clearance
Experience with edge computing hardware software integration (avionics or similar)
Experience with electronic validation testing methodologies
Networking systems knowledge highly desired
In this role, you will:
Generate and allocate system functional requirements into efficient software and firmware architectures utilizing Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE).
Validate and verify system requirements, including initial integration of software and hardware.
Develop innovative technical solutions utilizing the full capabilities of GE Aviation Systems on development programs and proposals.
Interact with customer engineering organizations to define and shape requirements for future platforms and systems.
Develop new tools in support of MBSE objectives.
Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or similar field from an accredited university or college.
At least 5 years’ experience in MBSE engineering development.
