The Opportunity

This is more than a finance role—it’s a strategic seat at the table. We’re looking for a CFO who

can own and evolve our finance function while partnering closely with the CIO to help fuel our

expansion, optimize performance, and unlock new opportunities. The ideal candidate is equal

parts operator, strategist, and innovator, with deep experience in real estate finance and a

passion for building sustainable, high-margin businesses.

What You'll Own

Financial Leadership & Reporting

Lead all aspects of accounting, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, insurance, and

financial reporting.

Ensure compliance with industry regulations and financial standards.

Build and execute internal control systems to safeguard assets and mitigate risk.

Approve major expenditures, support capital allocation decisions, and oversee financial

systems and policy development.

Manage relationships with auditors, tax advisors, and financial institutions.

Investor Relations & Fundraising

Partner with the CIO to support capital raising for acquisitions and developments.

Oversee all investor reporting and compliance needs.

Drive financial components of strategic deals and joint ventures.

Serve as a key point of contact for investors, analysts, and capital partners.

Strategy & Planning

Develop and lead long-term financial planning aligned with growth and market trends.

Co-own capital allocation strategies for development, acquisitions, and renovations.

Work closely with the CIO to identify capital sources and partnerships that support our

growth vision.

Risk Management & Capital Structure

Assess and manage risks related to market fluctuations, interest rates, and tenant

occupancy.

Develop mitigation strategies including diversification, hedging, and scenario planning.

Optimize the company’s capital structure, working with the CIO to manage debt and

explore alternative funding.

Own insurance strategy to reduce cost, limit liability, and increase ROI from policies.

Technology & Innovation

Evaluate and implement financial technologies to improve workflow and reporting

efficiency.

Leverage data to gain insights into financial performance, market trends, and tenant

behaviors.

Champion new tools that support better modeling, forecasting, and investment

decision-making.

What You Bring

Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, ideally in real estate, investment,

or asset-heavy industries.

Strong understanding of capital markets, financial modeling, and risk management

frameworks.

Ability to lead and scale a finance team with a hands-on, strategic mindset.

Excellent communication skills—comfortable collaborating cross-functionally and

influencing executives.

Tech-forward approach with experience implementing finance tools or ERP systems.

Track record of partnering with leadership on fundraising, growth strategy, and

operational transformation.

High ethical standards and a commitment to transparency and investor trust.

Key Qualities

Strategic thinker with vision beyond the numbers

Growth-minded and deeply curious about where markets are headed

Calm under pressure, but thrives in a dynamic, high-impact environment

Business partner first, finance leader second

Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and integrity
