Summary:
We are seeking a talented Systems and Validation Engineer to join our forward-thinking product development team. The ideal candidate will bring 3–4 years of experience in systems engineering or validation (or both), with a strong emphasis on connectivity and networking for embedded systems in industrial or heavy machinery applications. This role plays a critical part in ensuring reliable, high-performance systems for connected equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
Define, develop, and manage system-level requirements for embedded and connected systems.
Lead system validation and verification activities to ensure products meet performance, reliability, and quality standards.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams (software, hardware, test, etc.) to define system architecture and interface requirements.
Design and implement networking and connectivity solutions involving CAN, Ethernet, LIN, and wireless protocols.
Troubleshoot and analyze complex issues spanning hardware and software interfaces.
Develop and execute test plans, procedures, and reports to validate system functionality.
Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action implementation for system issues.
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts across systems design and validation workflows.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Computer Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
3–4 years of experience in systems engineering, validation, or both.
Proven experience with networking and connectivity protocols such as CAN, LIN, Ethernet, and wireless technologies.
Solid understanding of systems engineering processes and tools (e.g., DOORS, Polariton).
Experience with system modeling or simulation tools.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in an Agile development environment.
Familiarity with functional safety standards (e.g., ISO 26262).
Knowledge of diagnostic tools and data logging systems.
Exposure to cybersecurity considerations in networked embedded systems.
Pay Transparency: The typical base pay for this role across the U.S. is: $45.00 - $50.00/hr. Final offer amounts, within the base pay set forth above, are determined by factors including your relevant skills, education and experience and the benefits package you select. Full-time employees are eligible to select from different benefits packages.
