Electrical Designer

Responsibilities

Lead and contribute to electrical design packages for industrial projects, from concept through construction.

Design and layout power distribution systems, motor control centers (MCCs), transformers, VFDs, switchgear, and lighting systems.

Develop and interpret single-line diagrams, cable sizing plans, and power correction schemes.

Collaborate with cross-disciplinary engineering teams and integrate electrical design with mechanical and process systems.

Utilize AutoCAD, Revit, and Navisworks to deliver high-quality, coordinated design models and drawings.

Interpret P&IDs and ensure alignment of electrical systems with process requirements.

Required Skills

7+ years of experience in electrical design, ideally for industrial or manufacturing projects.

Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, power distribution, cable sizing, lighting design, and associated systems.

Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, and Navisworks is essential.

Working knowledge of P&IDs and integration with electrical systems.

A collaborative mindset and a detail-oriented approach to engineering design.
