Overview:

A well-established and highly respected landscape architecture firm with over two decades of industry success is seeking a CAD Technician to join its growing team. This role supports Landscape Architects and Project Managers in the creation of Conceptual Design, Design Development, and Construction Documentation across a diverse portfolio including waterfront resorts, hospitality, luxury residential, community design, and commercial projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Production & Design Support

Prepare construction documents, permit drawings, and graphics in line with firm standards.

Utilize AutoCAD and LandFX for drafting and detailing.

Create high-quality renderings using Photoshop.

Develop presentations using InDesign.

Contribute to hardscape design and documentation, including features such as monument signs, paving, pools, walls, water and fire elements, and custom landscape features.

Engage in 3D modeling as needed.

Project Management & Coordination

Demonstrate excellent time management and multitasking skills.

Understand submittal processes for local municipalities, especially in Southwest Florida.

Qualifications:

Formal training in AutoCAD or equivalent experience.

Minimum 3 years’ experience in a landscape design or architecture firm.

Proven proficiency in AutoCAD; experience with MS Office and Adobe Creative Suite.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

Enthusiastic participant in firm-wide quality control efforts.

Willingness to assist with general operations, including administrative support and file organization.

Interest in contributing ideas for service improvements and company growth.
