Adecco Permanent Recruitment has partnered with a leading manufacturer in Nashville, TN, to find an Embedded System Engineer to lead electronic and electromechanical controls development for new products.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Oversee system design, define system requirements, and create designs for hardware, software, and firmware.
Lead verification & testing. Develop test plans to validate system functionality and performance.
Develop system architecture and detailed design specifications, including creating functional block diagrams to visually represent how components interact and ensuring all parts meet performance and safety requirements.
Lead and manage engineering projects, including planning, scheduling, and coordinating tasks across cross-functional teams. Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within scope.
Ensure designs meet industry safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
Maintain thorough documentation for system design, testing, and future support.
Basic Qualifications:
B.S. in Electrical, Electronics, or Systems Engineering. Masters Preferred.
5+ years of experience in electronic systems development
Expertise in V-model methodologies
Strong background in system integration, communications protocols, and control logic.
Experience with electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and test instrumentation

Base salary in the $100k-115k range
