Position Summary: Our Creative Director will be a strategic, positive and proactive leader responsible for growing a strong, national brand identity that resonates with our B2B and B2C audiences. The ideal candidate has a track record of successfully inspiring and collaborating with a multi-disciplinary creative team and experience developing multi-channel creative that balances strategic business objectives with emotional authenticity.

Key Responsibilities:

Set the Standard for Creative: Lead concept development and visual direction across a wide range of digital and traditional channels including print, video, social and web. Bring ideas to life through strategic design, web, event marketing and video content. Contribute strategically to campaign planning and brand evolution.

Oversee Video Production: Lead storyboarding and production of high-quality video-content, including internal communications and external promotional videos, product demos, social media content, ads and motion graphics to drive engagement and build connection with our external audiences and internal teams.

Build and Lead the Team: Inspire and mentor a team of designers and creative professionals to ensure impactful visual storytelling across channels and mediums. Source, coordinate and effectively integrate freelance support and remote regional teams.

Strengthen Collaboration: Work closely with marketing leadership, company stakeholders and external agencies and vendors to align creative efforts with business goals under the direction of the SVP of Marketing.

Maintain Brand Consistency: Ensure all visual content adheres to brand guidelines and maintains a consistent look and feel across all platforms. Candidate should be detail-oriented and help ensure quality control throughout executions.

Strategize and Present: Must be able to present creative concepts to stakeholders and management, incorporating feedback to refine and improve designs.

Manage Team Workflow: Prioritize work and resources across engagements, based on short- and long-term needs and develop schedules by collaborating with designers, copywriters and production artists. Manage input of requests from multiple sources across the company and effectively load balance work for multiple designers and projects simultaneously, ensuring quality control, timely delivery and adherence to budget constraints. Must be highly organized personally, as well as skilled at helping creative teams achieve top level efficiencies by implementing optimal processes and organization.

Qualifications:

10+ years in senior creative position or visual design working on an in-house marketing team overseeing multiple direct reports (Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or a related field ideal but not required with relevant experience).

Proven experience as an Art Director or Creative Director in a large enterprise or public company, with a strong portfolio and/or reel showcasing digital, print, email, packaging, OOH, video production work and sales collateral.

Experience at directing shoots and collaborating with photographers, videographers, stylists and talent.

Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Illustrator, Adobe InDesign.

Excellent understanding of color theory, typography and design principles.

Proficiency in video editing and software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects or DaVinci Resolve.

Strong leadership and project management skills plus the ability to work collaboratively and communicate effectively with cross-functional managers and teams. Experience with Asana or another project management software a plus but is not required.

Experience in the housing or construction industry is a plus but is not required.

This role is 100% on site in Plano, Texas.
