Development Product Owner

We are seeking a skilled Development Product Owner (DPO) to support the enhancement and maintenance of our client's Property & Casualty (P&C) Billing System and Processes. This individual will collaborate closely with business and IT partners to break down features, prioritize work, and ensure readiness for Agile development teams.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate high-level features into clear, actionable user stories with defined acceptance criteria using JIRA.

Prioritize and manage the team’s backlog to align with strategic objectives.

Collaborate with business owners, Product Managers, other DPOs, and IT to define requirements and dependencies.

Identify risks and impediments, and actively work to resolve them to ensure steady progress.

Qualifications:

3–7 years of experience as a Development Product Owner or similar role in Agile environments.

Demonstrated ability to refine complex features and write developer-ready stories without deep subject matter expertise.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills; able to collaborate across business and technical teams.

Proficient in JIRA and Agile practices.

Relocation is not available. Must live in San Antonio - role will be onsite 4 days a week.
