What You’ll Do

As a Project Manager, you’ll lead cross-functional teams to deliver complex industrial engineering projects on time and on budget. Your responsibilities will include:

Taking full ownership of project planning, execution, and delivery

Acting as the primary liaison with customers throughout the project lifecycle

Leading internal teams including Engineering, Purchasing, QA, and Finance

Developing and monitoring budgets, timelines, and resource plans

Managing scope changes, invoicing, reporting, and close-out activities

Ensuring compliance with SMS group project management standards

Traveling domestically and internationally as needed to support projects

What You’ll Need

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Science, or Management preferred

MUST have steel experience

3–5+ years of experience in project management or related field

PMI certification or MBA is a plus

Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

Willingness and ability to travel extensively as projects require
