STAHL Companies provides the Program Management for its Channel of Commercial Technology companies in Government that consist of Small Businesses and New Technology start-ups.
STAHL advocates for policies that can improve government services and maintain our government's competitive advantage, by bringing more technology into government programs.
STAHL Companies advocates on behalf of our nation's innovative, new technology and small businesses looking to work with the U.S. government. We do this by aligning the voice of our small business members with advocacy for change in federal policy that will make the government market more accessible to small businesses and the commercial technology ecosystem.
The Channel's founding Technical Board Members include former government leaders and IT executives passionate about bringing best-of-breed technology to the government.
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Program Manager to join our team!

Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the delivery of engineering and architecture services supporting IRS enterprise IT systems.
Oversee the development and implementation of infrastructure configurations, cloud and data services, authentication architectures, and application engineering efforts.
Ensure all designs and implementations are aligned with structured design principles and federal compliance standards.
Provide strategic direction and project leadership across enterprise architecture, infrastructure engineering, system automation, and data delivery.
Facilitate long-term sustainability and operational efficiency across IRS technology platforms.
Coordinate and deliver regular status reports, ensuring timely communication of project milestones, risks, and performance metrics.
Serve as the primary point of contact between IRS stakeholders and the Contractor team.
Support foundational design and implementation strategies that ensure secure system operations and reliable platform performance.
Promote and implement best practices in technology planning, systems integration, and IT governance.
Qualifications:
PMP Certification
Minimum of 8 years of experience in program/project management within complex IT environments.
Demonstrated experience working with the Internal Revenue Service, particularly in the IRS Engineering & Architecture Services program.
Strong understanding of federal IT compliance standards, security protocols, and performance benchmarks.
Proven experience managing cross-functional teams delivering services in:
Infrastructure engineering
Enterprise architecture
Cloud and data services
Application architecture and system automation
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
Preferred Skills:
Experience in agile and hybrid project management environments.
Familiarity with IRS enterprise systems and architectural review processes.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on long-term IT strategy and system scalability.
