ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential Functions Statement(s)

Monitor ALL open purchase orders and sales orders

Continuous contact with Vendors/Suppliers to ensure that orders are shipped and/or received in a timely manner

Maintain communication with Customers and Sales personnel with updates on item delivery status.

Timely notification of Customers/Vendors and Company personnel if critical shipments are late

Work with Vendors and Customers to solve any issues that would delay shipments and deliveries

Work with our warehouse and vendors to ensure that all items are delivered and free of defects.

Manage updates and notes in ERP system for outstanding orders.

Prioritize Red (Critical) orders with expediency for delivery to customers/warehouse

Monitor and respond to incoming customer and vendor calls and e-mails

Customer quote processing and follow-up

Customer order entry

Manage customer order report and VMI ordering

Verify and monitor purchase and sales orders including expediting and tracking orders

Print pick tickets and customer order acknowledgements

Assist in Customer returns or refurbishment

Interact with vendors regarding products and pricing

Negotiate with vendors and customers on pricing

YOUR QUALIFICATIONS

Customer Oriented - Ability to take care of the customers’ needs while following company procedures.

Detail Oriented - Ability to pay attention to the minute details of a project or task.

Experience in Industrial Distribution, CNC Machining, Inside Sales in related field/industry preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite required.

ERP System experience preferred.
