We are seeking a detail-oriented SEO Marketing Analyst to join our client's digital marketing team. This position is tailored for candidates with 1-2 years of experience, looking to grow into a Marketing Analyst role over time. In this role, you will work closely with the Marketing Analyst, assisting with SEO task execution, data reporting, and the day-to-day management of client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO Task Execution

Conduct keyword research to support blog writing and website optimization.

Assist in the ideation of SEO blog topics and the creation of content calendars.

Post client-approved content on websites (mostly via WordPress) and ensure accuracy and alignment with SEO objectives.

Manage and update local SEO listings using platforms such as Yext and Google My Business to maintain a consistent and accurate presence.

Performance Reporting & Analysis

Regularly review performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and SEO software.

Develop performance scorecards and reports that detail key insights and progress toward KPIs.

Identify and flag data anomalies to the Marketing Analyst for further investigation and optimization.

Client Support and Communication

Attend client meetings as a supporting team member, taking detailed notes and documenting key action items.

Follow up with clients via email on minor requests or to clarify SEO-related tasks.

Monitor project timelines and help ensure on-time delivery of SEO initiatives.

Internal Coordination and Growth

Assist in maintaining organization within project management systems to track SEO tasks.

Stay current on emerging SEO trends, tools, and algorithm updates; share insights with the team.

Contribute to process improvements and brainstorm sessions to refine SEO and marketing strategies.

Ideal Candidate Qualifications:

1-2 years of experience in an SEO, digital marketing, or related role.

Knowledge of or experience using CMS platforms like WordPress (preferred but not required).

Proficiency with Google Analytics (GA4) and a solid understanding of performance metrics.

Familiarity with SEO tools and platforms (e.g., Yext, Google My Business, SEMrush, Copilot).

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines consistently.

Comfortable working remotely during standard business hours and collaborating across multiple time zones.

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

Basic understanding of HTML concepts (Copilot experience is a plus).

Familiarity with Airtable or similar project management tools.

Knowledge of producing visually appealing scorecards and performance dashboards.
