Power Systems Engineer

Pay Rate - $70,000 - $80,000/yr (Depending on Experience)
We seek a motivated and detail-oriented recent graduate to join our team as a Power System Engineer. In this role, you would be responsible for designing, analyzing, and maintaining electrical power systems for facilities in the greater Baltimore area. You would receive hands-on training, mentorship, and professional development, as well as work with a collaborative team of engineers.
Qualification
Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
Basic understanding of electrical schematics and engineering drawings
0-2 years of experience in a related field (internships or co-op experience is considered).
Familiarity with power systems analysis software (e.g., ETAP, PSS/E, PSCAD) is a plus.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the design and development of electrical power systems and components.
Analyze electrical schematics and engineering drawings to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Support the implementation and maintenance of power system projects.
Collaborate with senior engineers and other team members to solve technical challenges.
Conduct field inspections and assessments to ensure the reliability and safety of power systems.
Participate in the testing and commissioning of new electrical equipment.
Prepare technical reports and documentation.
