Job Summary:
The Analyst, Financial will work with members of the Finance & Accounting team and others within the organization, to correspond to matters relating to their position.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepares financial budgets, forecasts, and profitability analysis as required.
Prepares financial and operating analysis for capital and investment planning.
Provides analytic support to assist Operations and Commercial personnel in business optimization and profitability evaluations.
Prepares and presents DCF business models as required, including continued development and maintenance of the models.
Completes various responsibilities for the monthly financial close including, but not limited to, journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analysis reports for several companies.
Liaises with corporate management and provide support.
Completes various ad-hoc reporting and analysis projects as needed.
Skills, Abilities and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
Chartered Professional Accountant (CPA) or Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) certification is an asset.
3 or more years of related experience.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
Effective communication skills (verbal and written).
Excellent organization, planning and prioritization skills.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to remain calm under pressure and to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
Self-motivated, able to work in a team environment and balance the needs of a number of individuals and the team.
Business minded with strong strategic acumen and analytical skills.
Good understanding of financial markets.
Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationship and interact with all levels of the organization and in multinational environments.
Valid passport and driver’s license.
No travel restrictions.
