Job Title: Airframe Integration & Verification (I&V) Engineer

Location: St. Louis, MO

Duration: 12+ Months

Job Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Airframe Integration & Verification Engineer to join our Systems Engineering, Integration, and Test (SEIT) team on the T-7 platform. This role plays a crucial part in ensuring airframe systems meet performance and safety specifications through rigorous integration and verification processes. The St. Louis region continues to expand, offering exciting opportunities for talented engineers to contribute to the success of cutting-edge aerospace projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead integration and verification of airframe systems, ensuring compliance with design specifications and regulatory requirements.

Develop and participate in flight test readiness reviews, test plans, and test matrix development.

Coordinate with Flight Test POCs to support test execution, coverage, and data collection.

Collaborate cross-functionally with design, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to resolve technical challenges.

Analyze test data and provide recommendations for design enhancements and corrective actions.

Support the development and documentation of airframe specifications and requirements.

Mentor junior engineers and contribute technical expertise during design reviews to enhance testability and manufacturability.

Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in airframe integration and verification.

Maintain strong relationships with customers, stakeholders, and peers to ensure seamless collaboration.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in engineering, engineering technology, chemistry, physics, mathematics, data science, or computer science.

2-4 years (based on experience level) in airframe integration and verification, preferably in military or commercial aircraft.

Strong knowledge of airframe systems, structures, and materials.

Experience in test planning, execution, and data analysis.

Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with the T-7 platform or similar aircraft programs.

Familiarity with systems engineering principles and Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methodologies.

Knowledge of FAA, MIL-STD, and other regulatory requirements for aircraft design and testing.

Proficiency in engineering tools and software for modeling, simulation, and analysis.
