Job Description: Overview:

The candidate will be responsible for embedded firmware during new product development of from concept to commercialization

Experience in embedded C/C++ programming on microcontrollers, and microcontrollers including coding of interfaces to external memory, and digital interfaces to other peripherals.

Experience of interfacing various sensors to microcontrollers through A/Ds, serial protocols, or other interfaces

Excellent understanding of how to work around processing, memory, i/o, timing, and other limitations associated with microcontrollers

Experience using common compilers, debugging tools to troubleshoot embedded code and implement corrections

Experience with wireless protocols such as BLE, LoRa, WiFi, and others a plus

Proficient with typical lab test equipment: power supplies, digital millimeters, oscilloscopes, function generators

Additional responsibilities include periodic reporting of planned and completed development activities, providing estimated completion dates, and prompt reporting of issues to client.

Primary Skills:

Embedded firmware developer for ARM and PIC

Experience and Educational Qualifications:

BSEE or BSCS, MS preferred, Min 5+ year embedded experience
