Job Description

Title: AutoCAD Drafter

Location: Mokena, IL area

Duration: 6 months contract to hire

Salary: $20 - $26/HR (salary commensurate with experience)

AutoCAD Architectural Drafter to prepare or check that shop drawings are clear, complete, and accurate from rough or detailed sketches, existing libraries, and product rules according to specified dimensions. Provide support to Engineering department by preparing routine layouts, detail drawings, assembly drawings, sketches, & diagrams.

Draft construction drawings for product and their related support structures

Draft wall sections with both traditional and curtainwall windows.

Draft various prototype designs for products.

Correct red line marked up shop drawings for production.

Create drawings for CNC milling machine.

Performed material takeoffs

Drawings include floor plans, wall sections, product section, and connection details

Produce shop drawings for fabrication

Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel, and Outlook

QUALIFICATIONS:

Associate degree in Drafting or related field with a minimum of 2 years' drafting experience.
