Job Summary:

Axis is seeking a highly motivated and skilled On-Site Full Stack Technical Generalist to join our dynamic team in Paragould, Arkansas. This critical role will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of our manufacturing systems, integrating front-end user interfaces with back-end logic and databases.

The ideal candidate is curious, adaptable, and thrives in a fast-paced, factory-floor setting where software directly impacts production outcomes. You will report to the Principal Plant Engineer and work closely with engineering, operations, and IT teams to optimize production processes and drive efficiency through innovative software solutions.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and implement full-stack software solutions for our manufacturing operations, including HMIs, data acquisition systems, reporting tools, and custom applications.

Utilize Wonderware System Platform, InTouch, and Historian to develop and maintain visualization and data management systems.

Develop and maintain back-end applications and services using C# to interface with industrial control systems and other enterprise applications.

Design, implement, and manage relational databases using SQL (Microsoft SQL Server) for data storage, retrieval, and analysis.

Build and maintain front-end user interfaces using modern web technologies (e.g., HTML, CSS, JavaScript, frameworks like bootstrap) to provide intuitive access to manufacturing data and applications.

Integrate various manufacturing systems and data sources, ensuring seamless data flow and system interoperability.

Troubleshoot and resolve software-related issues within the manufacturing environment, providing timely and effective support.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements and deliver solutions that meet business needs.

Participate in the full software development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.

Document software architecture, code, and procedures to ensure maintainability and knowledge sharing.

Stay current with emerging technologies and industry best practices relevant to manufacturing software development.

Follow company coding standards, security guidelines, and change management processes.

Provide on-site support and occasional off-hours support as needed to ensure uptime of critical manufacturing systems.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.

Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Full Stack Developer, preferably within a manufacturing environment.

Must understand the impact of software changes on physical processes and be committed to minimizing downtime while ensuring safety compliance.

Strong working knowledge-or willingness to learn-Wonderware System Platform, InTouch, and Historian. Hands-on experience is preferred.

Proficient in C# and experienced in developing robust and efficient back-end systems.

Solid understanding of relational database design and extensive experience with SQL (e.g., writing complex queries, stored procedures, database administration).

Experience developing front-end user interfaces using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern JavaScript frameworks (e.g., bootstrap).

Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (e.g., OPC UA, Modbus, Ethernet/IP) is a plus.

Experience with Git or other version control systems.

Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a hands-on environment.

Must be able to work on-site at our Paragould Arkansas facility.

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience with other industrial automation software or platforms.

Prior work in real-time production environments where uptime, safety, and data integrity are critical.

Familiarity with MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems) and ERP (enterprise resource planning) integrations.

Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and their application in industrial settings.

Exposure to agile development methodologies.

Demonstrated initiative and problem-solving ability with a strong willingness to learn and master the Wonderware platform.
