Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner Annapolis MD

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our practice full time in Annapolis MD. Ideally, we are looking for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner that has some experience in either pain management or orthopedics, preferably with experience in office procedures such as trigger point injections, joint injections, and ONBs. We will consider motivated recent graduates with an interest in learning these procedures within our clinical setting.

With offices in Annapolis, Bowie and Glen Burnie, Maryland we offer a variety of comprehensive pain care and regen orthopedic solutions for patients across the Annapolis, Greater Baltimore and Washington DC areas. We have a dedicated team of physicians, advanced practice providers, and support staff that work diligently to ensure our patients get the best quality care from the moment they enter our offices until the moment they leave.

Duties:

Conduct comprehensive new patient evaluations (once fully trained), including full history, medication review, functional limitations, perform focused physical exams

Review and interpret diagnostic imaging (MRI, X-ray, CT), laboratory results, and specialist notes.

Formulate individualized treatment plans that may include interventional procedures, physical therapy, and pharmacologic management.

Prescribe and manage medications, in compliance with state and DEA guidelines.

Assist or perform minor in-office procedures as credentialed (e.g., trigger point injections, joint injections, nerve blocks) Can provide training if needed

Accurately document all visits in the EMR system, including HPI, exam, assessment, plan, medication changes, and patient education.

Educate patients on diagnosis, treatment options, and expectations

Provide lifestyle modification counseling including weight loss, ergonomics, sleep hygiene, and exercise

Serve as the primary point of contact for patient questions, symptom updates, and coordination between visits.

Manage follow-up appointments to assess response to treatment, adjust plans, and continue patient support.

Adjust medication regimens and treatment strategies based on clinical outcomes and patient goals

Refer patients for advanced diagnostics, physical therapy, or surgical consultation as indicated

Consult with supervisory physicians as needed

Coordinate with primary care and other specialists to ensure continuity of care.

Review labs, imaging, and patient messages between appointments Requirements:

Completion of a Physician Assistant Certified (PA-C) or Nurse Practitioner Program

PA/NP Licensed to practice in MD

Experience in Pain management and/or Orthopedics with knowledge/experience in trigger point injections, joint injections, ONBs preferred

Will consider recent grads interested in pain management Schedule:

Mon - Fri (most Fridays providers done by 2:30)Salary (range):

$120k-$140k plus potential bonus compensation (average about $3500 - $5500 per quarter)Benefits:

Vacation: 19 days PTO total (vacation/sick) with 5 CME days

Production based bonus compensation potential (average about $3500 - $5500 per quarter)
