Concrete Laborer/Finisher

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

Finish, smooth, and level freshly poured concrete surfaces with precision and attention to detail.

Set up, align, and secure forms and molds to ensure proper placement of concrete.

Operate hand and power tools, including trowels, floats, and screeds, to achieve high-quality finishes.

Apply hardening and sealing compounds to cure concrete surfaces.

Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications to execute tasks accurately.

Ensure proper slope, depth, and finish according to job requirements and client expectations.

Collaborate with superintendents, project managers, and other trades to meet project timelines.

Adhere to all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized job site.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Minimum of 10 years of experience in concrete finishing.

Expertise in various finishing techniques, including hand and machine troweling.

Extensive experience working on a range of concrete applications, such as sidewalks, curbs, slabs, foundations, and walls.

Strong knowledge of concrete mixing, pouring, and curing processes.

Ability to perform efficiently in fast-paced commercial and residential project environments.

Exceptional attention to detail, precision, and craftsmanship.

Reliable transportation and a strong work ethic.

OSHA 10 certification is preferred but not required.
