Description A Brief Overview Provides support and assistance to the Radiologic Technologist in caring for patients and family members during the imaging process, completing clerical/computer duties, lifting/transporting of patients, and following hospital and departmental policies, protocols, and SOPs (including Radiation and MRI safety). Employee must be enrolled in an approved imaging program.
This position qualifies for Funding Healthcare Futures program.What You Will DoAssisting the Radiologic Technologist by completing basic patient assessments including verifying patient orders, completing patient questionnaires, patient preparation and instruction.
Communication with other members of the health care team to help coordinate patient care.
Facilitate patient care including, lifting, transport, chaperone and monitoring of patients.
Assist with Radiology computer information and data entry including PACS system.
Ensures the adequate availability of procedural supplies to include ordering and stocking patient care supply item.
Follows hospital initiatives in order to meet patient satisfaction goals.
