Accountants One is pleased to partner again with a valued repeat client – a long-standing, highly respected manufacturing company based in Alpharetta - hybrid 1 day at home – in the search for an Assistant Controller.

The ideal candidate is a CPA who will work closely with two other corporate accountants and be deeply involved in both the day-to-day operations and strategic financial projects of the company.

Highlights of the Assistant Controller Role:

CPA a plus/ Must have a degree in Accounting or Finance

Collaborate with two other corporate accountants

Active involvement in Treasury Management

Hands-on with daily, weekly, and monthly accounting processes – from general ledger through full financial statement presentation, including payroll

Responsible for monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting and compliance

Assist in annual audits for both the corporation and retirement plans

Liaise with 11 divisions and their accounting teams

Contribute to company stock management

Partner with the CFO on long-term strategic projects

Assist with various tax return compliance (Income Tax, Sales & Use Tax, etc.)

Requirements:

Advanced Excel and ERP systems

5 to 7 years in a senior role

Able to do month-end close, cost accounting, financial statements, General Ledger, and payroll, etc.

Understand treasury and Taxes
