Estimator - Construction

Job Description

Here at Midland Glass, we are seeking an Estimator to join our team and to help us to continue to provide Glass/Glazing and Architectural Aluminum solutions to general contractors and end users. You will work closely with our project managers, purchasing agents, and salesmen to create takeoffs, price potential projects, and putting bids together.

Responsibilities:

Estimate all aspects of our scope on construction projects, from planning to installation

Estimate the cost of resources for projects

Interface with contractors/clients, architects, and engineers

Request quotes from our vendors

Diligently comb through requests/specification to price projects accurately

Qualifications:

Previous experience/education in construction or other related fields

Familiarity with construction software (Bluebeam, Excel, Word, ect.)
