Job Description

Essential Job Functions:

· Calculating, posting, and reviewing financial data for use in maintaining accounting and statistical records, including monthly general ledger closing

· Analyzes financial information detailing assets, liabilities, and capital, and assists in preparation of balance sheets, profit and loss, and other reports to summarize current and projected company financial position

· Lead the preparation and consolidation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements across the United States, Belgium, China, and Hong Kong.

· Oversee the timely and accurate reporting of financial results, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, cash flow, and variance analysis.

· Provide analytical support to senior management on financial performance, profitability analysis, cost control, and capital expenditure decisions.

· Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounting teams across the different geographies, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in the processing of transactions.

· Monitor cash flow and recommend strategies to manage liquidity and minimize financial risk. Compiles data for use in cash flow forecasting

· Coordinate and support internal and external audits, ensuring the accuracy of financial statements and compliance with local and international tax laws.

· Assigns duties and examines work for accuracy, neatness, and conformance to policies and procedures

· Establishes, modifies, and coordinates implementation of internal control procedures.

· Meets with internal plant managers to collect information for use in monthly financial reviews.

· Manage and mentor a global team of accounting and finance professionals, ensuring continuous professional development and alignment with company goals.

· Continuously assess and enhance financial systems, tools, and reporting processes to streamline workflows and improve data accuracy.

· Monitor financial operations for fraud prevention, ensuring strong corporate governance practices.

Required Qualifications and Skills

· Minimum Requirements: 8+ years’ work experience with financial reporting, reconciliation, budgeting, cash flow forecasting, consolidations, general ledger, accounts receivable/payable supervision, and cost accounting.

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance; CPA experience a plus but not required.

· Highly analytical, detail oriented and excellent problem-solving skills.

· Good organization skills with the ability to multitask.

· Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Highly proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.

· Microsoft Dynamics experience a plus.

· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
