Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our Accounting team. This critical role will manage key financial processes, ensure compliance with accounting standards, and support strategic decision-making through accurate financial reporting and analysis.

Youll work closely with leadership, help shape internal processes, and contribute to a collaborative team culture in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment.

What Youll Do

Lead month-end and year-end close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, and allocations

Reconcile general ledger accounts and resolve discrepancies

Prepare and analyze financial statements and support monthly variance analysis for executive leadership

Partner with the Controller to implement internal controls and streamline accounting procedures

Ensure full compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies

Assist with budgeting and forecasting by providing financial insights and modeling

Support external audits, preparing schedules and responding to auditor inquiries

Assist with inventory and COGS reporting and analysis

Collaborate with cross-functional teams on financial planning and operations

What You Bring

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA certification is a strong plus)

5+ years of progressive experience in accounting or finance

Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting principles

Proficiency with accounting systems and Microsoft Excel (advanced functions a plus)

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities

Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professionalism

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a dynamic work environment

Leadership and team collaboration experience

Ability to pass a background check and drug screen

Work Environment

Hybrid work model: a mix of remote and in-office work- Our office is located in Bradenton, FL
