Job Description
The Production Assembler will perform essential assembly processes in the Manufacturing Department, contributing to the creation of various components such as liners, shutters, cables, ignition bulbs, ADV screens, and other part assemblies. This role involves light machining and fabrication, as well as fundamental machine wiring techniques including cutting, terminating, soldering, and crimping wire. Maintaining a clean work environment and adhering to published work instructions and procedures are crucial. The assembler will observe, recognize, and promote safe manufacturing practices while learning the duties and responsibilities of an Electromechanical Assembler.
Responsibilities
Perform production assembly processes in the Manufacturing Department.
Manufacture liners, shutters, cables, ignition bulbs, ADV screens, and other part assemblies.
Engage in light machining and fabrication tasks.
Apply fundamental machine wiring techniques such as cutting, terminating, soldering, and crimping wire.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Follow published work instructions and procedures.
Observe, recognize, and promote safe manufacturing practices.
Learn and comprehend the duties and responsibilities of an Electromechanical Assembler.Essential Skills
Proficiency in assembly and mechanical production processes.
Experience with blueprint reading and hand tools.
Skills in mechanical and electronic assembly, including soldering and crimping.
Understanding of wiring and cable assembly techniques.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Basic knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Ability to communicate effectively with team members.
Vocational or technical training.
High school diploma required.

Work Environment
Work in a temperature-controlled manufacturing environment with multiple shift options available. Choose from Monday to Friday, Tuesday to Friday, or Monday to Thursday schedules, each offering a balanced work week with designated lunch breaks.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Stevensville, Maryland.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
