Job Opportunity: Engineering Designer

Location: Tulsa, OK 74107 (On-Site)

Compensation: $80,000 - $100,000 annually (based on experience)

We're looking for a talented and detail-oriented Engineering Designer to join our dynamic engineering team. As an Engineering Designer, you'll play a key role in developing mechanical and structural designs for cutting-edge compressor packages, code vessels, piping systems, and more-using the latest 3D CAD tools. Your expertise will help bring complex concepts to life and support high-quality product development from the ground up.

What You'll Do

Develop and document detailed 3D models and technical drawings for mechanical and structural systems, subassemblies, and components.

Create comprehensive bills of materials (BOMs) and ensure all documentation meets departmental standards.

Analyze proposed design changes for functionality, fit, and potential interference-offering creative, workable solutions.

Perform precise engineering calculations using charts, tables, and industry tools to support the design process.

Ensure all drawings meet quality standards and are archived appropriately for seamless project management.

Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering, production, and project management teams to deliver results on time What You Bring

A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering Technology, or a related field.

3+ years of drafting and design experience, ideally within the oil & gas or industrial equipment sectors.

Proficiency with 3D CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Inventor.

A strong understanding of mechanical systems, piping, and structural design principles.

Exceptional attention to detail, analytical thinking, and organizational skills.

Strong communication abilities-both written and verbal-for team collaboration and technical documentation.

The ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently in a fast-paced environment Bonus Traits

Experience designing compressor packages, pressure vessels, or process equipment.

Familiarity with process & instrumentation diagrams (P&ID).

A natural problem-solver with a knack for simplifying complexity and enhancing design efficiency Work Environment & Expectations

Mental agility and problem-solving capabilities are essential.

Physical requirements include regular sitting, keyboarding, occasional walking, and the ability to navigate workspaces and customer sites.
