Our client is seeking a skilled Automation and Controls Engineering Specialist to join their team. This full-time position is crucial for ensuring the smooth operation of production machinery and facility systems.Job Overview:

The Automation Engineer will serve as a key resource for production, focusing on the repair and maintenance of automation-related equipment and other production and facility systems. This role requires a blend of technical expertise and practical problem-solving skills.Primary Responsibilities:

Maintain and repair custom electro-mechanical systems

Perform PLC programming and diagnostics

Implement and maintain servo systems

Program and apply robotic systems

Design and create electrical panel layouts

Install and troubleshoot vision systems

Collaborate with the maintenance team on various repair tasksRequired Skills and Qualifications:

Proficiency in PLC and HMI diagnostics

Ability to interpret mechanical drawings and electrical schematics

Experience with electrical panel layout and design

Familiarity with vision system repair and maintenance

Knowledge of servo system repair and optimization

Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills

Excellent teamwork and communication abilities

Capacity to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environmentEducation and Experience:

Associate's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, OR

Electrician license, OR

High school diploma with 6+ years of relevant experience

Minimum of 5 years experience in industrial automation
