Job Title: CNC Machine Operator

Job Description

The CNC Machine Operator is responsible for setting up and operating CNC turning and milling machines, including Mori Siekis and Doosans. The role involves utilizing precision measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges to ensure parts meet quality standards. The operator will need to use blueprints daily and work with G and M codes.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate CNC turning and milling machines, primarily Mori Siekis and Doosans.

Utilize precision measuring tools to check parts, including micrometers, calipers, and pin gauges.

Use blueprints daily and work with G and M codes.

Comply with all quality policies, specifications, regulations, and instructions.

Visually inspect parts to assure conformance with standards and customer requirements.

Inspect tooling for wear and damage.

Properly and safely operate equipment, record production daily.

Operate one or more CNC machines while maintaining all quality safety requirements.

Properly and safely load/unload machine, record production daily, identify and isolate non-conforming product.

Assist the team leader and read and interpret basic technical drawings and blueprints.

Assist Set-Up Tech with basic set up and tear down.

Maintain near zero scrap throughout the run cycle.

Make machine offset adjustments as needed to maintain control.Essential Skills

2+ years of CNC operating experience.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints.

Proficiency in G and M codes.

Understanding of GD&T and machine operations.
