Job Title: Warehouse Worker: $15 to $18 per hour: Minneapolis, MN
Job Description
The primary role of a warehouse worker is to efficiently receive, store, and issue materials, equipment, and other items from stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. This position is vital in maintaining organized inventory and ensuring the smooth operation of warehouse functions.
Responsibilities
Receive and count stock items, recording data manually or using a computer.
Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigating discrepancies or adjusting errors.
Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
Mark stock items using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment.
Clean and maintain supplies, tools, equipment, and storage areas to ensure compliance with safety regulations.
Keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment.
Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
Provide assistance or direction to other stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard workers.Essential Skills
Proficient verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Team player with a keen attention to detail.
Understanding of relevant equipment, policies, procedures, and strategies to promote effective security operations.Additional Skills & Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required.
2-4 years of relevant experience.
Fluent in reading and speaking English.
Ability and willingness to stand for at least 8 hours with or without reasonable accommodation.
Capability to perform tasks such as pushing, pulling, grasping, and lifting with or without reasonable accommodation.
Ability to carry up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.Work Environment
The warehouse operates on a shift schedule from 3:30 pm to 11:30 pm, Sunday through the person. The environment involves picking, packing, inspection, storage, and receiving tasks. Workers should be comfortable with physical activities and maintaining a safe and organized workspace.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $15.00/hr.
