Location: Dallas, TX Payrate:26.94 Shift: 2nd

Transform Aircraft Interiors with Precision and Craftsmanship

PDS Tech Commercial is seeking a detail-oriented Upholstery Technician to help bring aircraft interiors to life. In this vital role, you’ll fabricate and install the upholstery elements that define the style, comfort, and safety of modern aircraft. Your work will directly influence passenger experience, luxury, and overall flight aesthetics.What You'll Do: Day-to-Day Responsibilities

Fabricate and install flat panels, curtains, and simple cover patterns using design/engineering drawings and aircraft specifications.

Work with a variety of materials including fabric, vinyl, leather hides, and composites.

Use adhesives, industrial sewing machines, sergers, hand tools, and power tools to complete upholstery tasks.

Cut and surge carpets, cover bulkheads, and install components such as headliners, sidewalls, hatch panels, and window trims.

Utilize the material tracking system (Corridor) to manage parts, track work progress, and sign off completed tasks.

Collaborate with experienced technicians to implement process improvements focused on safety, efficiency, and quality.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with 5S and safety protocols.

Address any unsafe conditions proactively and follow all PPE guidelines.What You Bring: Required & Preferred Qualifications

Required:

High School Diploma or GED.

Minimum of 2 years’ experience using commercial sewing machines, sergers, and hand tools related to upholstery or carpet trades.

Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering documents.

Proficient in basic math and measuring tools.

Physically able to climb ladders/stairs, work in confined areas, and lift up to 40 pounds.

Must be computer literate and fluent in English (reading, writing, speaking).

Preferred:

Experience working in the aerospace or aviation interiors industry.

Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing and process improvement techniques.Why Join Us?

Pay Details: 26.94 per hour
