Job Title: Machinist Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Machinist Supervisor to lead our Machine Shop. This individual will operate and manage CNC and manual mills, ensuring high-quality, precise components are produced for production assemblies. The candidate will interpret engineering drawings, set up machines, and maintain adherence to company standards.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret technical drawings to set up machines accordingly

Perform measurements and validations to ensure products meet design specifications

Adjust machine cutting paths or settings to optimize production while maintaining quality

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with machines as they arise

Perform basic machine maintenance such as cleaning and tool sharpening

Control raw material documentation ensuring proper traceability for machined componentsEssential Skills

3+ years of experience with Haas CNC machinery

Proficiency in operating HAAS VF-3 Milling Machine, HAAS ST-28Y Lathe, and HAAS Bar Feeder

Experience with Bridgeport Manual Milling Machine, Manual Lathe, Surface Grinder, and Tumbler

Knowledge of CAM Software

Strong attention to detail

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical or logistical problems

Ability to work independently and closely follow directions

Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings and blueprintsAdditional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in a manufacturing setting

Positive and professional attitude

Ability to work weekends and overtime as needed

Capable of standing for extended periods

Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for short periods

Experience with CAM software is a plusPay & Shift

1st shift: 7am - 5:30pm, Monday -Thursday

Pay Range: Up to $36 an hour

$$ Paid weekly $$

Contract to hire with benefits offered

The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $36.00/hr.
