Job Title: Quality Technician
Job Description
Join the Quality Department and play a crucial role in ensuring our products meet or exceed safe food handling and quality standards. Collaborate with Operations and other stakeholders to adhere to set quality parameters, and ensure control measures function as designed. Act swiftly to escalate any issues and take corrective action when necessary.
Responsibilities
Assist in problem-solving events to determine root cause and establish preventive measures.
Perform all laboratory procedures and cover 100% of Quality Control and Assurance checks or expectations.
Serve as a trainer for all QA Lab, Line, and department policies and procedures.
Conduct sensory evaluations on samples and document findings.
Ensure effective collection and shipment of customer samples with appropriate documentation.
Work independently at the batch station and escalate issues when necessary.
Make necessary adjustments at the frontline station for all lines/product SKUs independently.Essential Skills
Quality assurance and inspection expertise.
Exceptional attention to detail to detect deviations from standard operating procedures.
Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and supervisors.
In-depth understanding of food safety regulations and standards.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team setting.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Adherence to all GMP practices and internal policies.
Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.
Ability to follow directions and work independently with limited supervision.

This is a Contract position based out of Walton, Kentucky.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.50 - $23.50/hr.
