Our client a Global Manufacturing Company with a great deal of product diversity is seeking a experienced and strategic Senior HR Generalist with a strong focus on employee relations to support our largely white-collar workforce. The ideal candidate will be a trusted advisor to management and employees, helping to foster a fair, respectful, and legally compliant work environment. This role plays a key part in conflict resolution, policy development, and guiding best practices across employee interactions. Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the primary point of contact for employee relations matters across white-collar teams, including professional, administrative, and corporate staff.
Investigate and resolve complex employee concerns, grievances, and conflicts while maintaining objectivity, confidentiality, and thorough documentation.
Advise managers and supervisors on employee relations, performance management, and compliance with company policies and employment law.
Interpret and enforce HR policies and procedures; recommend updates to ensure consistency, fairness, and alignment with legal standards.
Collaborate with Legal, Compliance, and Risk Management teams on employee investigations and sensitive matters.
Partner with HR leadership on training programs related to workplace conduct, respectful communication, and management practices.
Monitor trends in employee relations issues and recommend proactive strategies to reduce risk and improve employee engagement.
Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement by identifying process gaps, proposing enhancements, and supporting change management efforts within HR and across the organization.
Support other HR functions such as onboarding, policy rollout, organizational changes, and compliance reporting as needed.
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certification (e.g., PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.
5+ years of progressive HR experience, with a minimum of 3 years in employee relations or a generalist role with heavy ER focus.
Strong knowledge of employment laws, workplace investigations, and conflict resolution best practices.
Demonstrated ability to thrive in a culture that embraces continuous learning, innovation, and process improvement.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Experience supporting corporate or white-collar employee populations is strongly preferred.
