Armed Campus Security Officer

***DRUG SCREENING REQUIRED***

Campus Safety Officer – Milken Community School (pay $20.35 per hour)

***Must be open to any shift on both weekday and weekends***

Hours: Vary depending on shift. Looking for officers who are open to work during the day and afternoon.

***Extra hours may be accumulated by working extra hours during school events or working at our other locations we may offer. ***

***Off Some Holidays – Security is provided 24/7 at this location. Officer will be required to rotate holidays off.

Job Description:

· Primary role is Campus Safety and Security. Campus Safety Officers provide the physical and personal security and safety measures for students, faculty, staff and visitors.

· Other duties include, access control, vehicle searches, crowd control, traffic control, emergency response, report writing and school code enforcement.

· The ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.

Requirements:

· Must possess a valid BSIS Guard Card & Exposed Firearms Permit

· Must have CPR Certification or be willing to complete training within 90 days of employment.

· Must pass prescreening background check

· Must pass pre-employment drug screening

· Must possess your own firearm with all required duty gear (including holster and extra magazines)

Provided Training:

-Blood borne pathogens training

- Sexual Harassment training

Pay: $20.35 per hour

Schedule:

Shifts may vary depending on the needs of the school. May be required to work weekends and holidays.

Education:

High school or equivalent (Required)

Experience:

Customer service: 1 year (Required)

License/Certification:

Guard Card (Required)

Exposed Firearms Permit (Required)

CPR/First Aid (Must obtain within 90 days of employment)

Shift Availability:

Mid Shift 11am-7pm
