As a Forklift Operator, you will engage in a variety of tasks that include operating roll forming equipment to produce metal roof and wall panels, ensuring quality checks, performing tooling changeovers, and adjusting equipment to meet profile specifications. You'll also be responsible for programming work orders, reporting production outcomes, operating a forklift to transport goods, packaging finished goods, and participating actively in safety programs. Maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment, and assisting in other departments as needed, are key aspects of this role.
Essential Skills
Forklift operation with a minimum of 6 months of manufacturing experience.
Ability to read a tape measure down to 1/16 of an inch.
Machine operating experience, with a minimum of 6 months required, and over 2 years preferred.
Experience in general production within the manufacturing industry.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in using hand and power tools such as banding saws, nail guns, roll formers, coil slitters, sheet metal shears, and powered folders.
Ability to read and interpret measurement equipment accurately.

Additional Information
1st shift hours! 7am - 3:30pm, Monday - Friday with overtime as needed.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
