Applications Engineer

Job Description

Troubleshoot imaging related problems for both in-house and field systems.

Responsible for inspection and imaging.

Ensure the integrity of all documentation and procedures.

Perform and document imaging studies with a variety of sources, detectors, and geometries on sample parts.

Conduct experimental investigations with new imaging components and technologies.

Analyze and recommend imaging components including type of source, detector and technique.

Travel to customer, or other company locations, worldwide to perform application studies or inspection, provide training, conduct demonstrations and/or to participate in system installation, repairs, or troubleshooting. (50%)

Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in STEM discipline. BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering is preferred.

2+ years experience with X-ray imaging systems.

Usage of MATLAB, C/C++, C# or Visual Basic.

Prior experience in a quality assurance, controlled design environment. (ISO 9000, NQA-1, X-Ray Applications Engineer or similar.

Must be a US Person (US Citizen or Legally authorized to work in the US)

50% Travel.Company Description
