APN Staffing is currently hiring for a Network System Engineer for our client. This is a Senior Level Engineer position (Monday - Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm). This is not a fully Remote position - Hybrid work schedule after the initial training. General Job Requirements:

Implement and manage network configurations to ensure maximum security and performance

Provide the highest level of administration on Active Directory, Group Policy, Windows Server, Exchange, Microsoft SQL installation and configuration, as well as PowerShell and like scripting methodologies

Design, configure and test networks, software, network devices, and network operating system software

Replace faulty network hardware components when required

Manage and mentor junior Network Engineering staff

Design, analyze, maintain, and implement LAN/WAN equipment, network and telephony infrastructure, including maintenance of security measures and solutions

Document physical and logical diagrams of network architecture using tools such as Microsoft Visio

General Job Requirements:

Deep understanding of networking protocols, including dynamic routing and firewall technologies (including Web Application Firewalls)

Firewall and network management experience

Comprehensive knowledge of HTTPS, SSL certificates and web protocols to support web application development

Strong communication and team collaboration abilities

Develop innovative approaches and ideas; present new ideas

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Services, or a closely related field - Required

5 years of experience in systems administration or network management required
