Job Title: Burn Table Operator
Job Description
As a Burn Table Operator, you will play a crucial role in cutting metal parts by operating industrial machine tools, equipment, or systems. You will be responsible for ensuring precision and maintaining the quality of production tasks.
Responsibilities
Program and operate plasma/oxy-fuel cutting machines.
Follow process sheets, blueprints, or instructions provided by the supervisor to perform production tasks.
Maneuver large, awkward, or heavy parts manually or with a crane.
Clean plasma-cut material, tooling, and parts.
Operate a forklift to maneuver large/heavy parts.
Maintain the machine and work area in a clean and safe manner.
Check and inspect operations against predetermined tolerances.
Assist in other areas or departments as needed.
Work scheduled hours: 2nd shift, Monday - Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM.Essential Skills
Experience in machine operating, drilling, tapping, sawing, and using a tape measure.
Capability in coating, painting, grinding, sanding, assembly, polishing, and metal finishing.
Basic math skills and ability to read and comprehend instructions written in English.
Physical ability to handle heavy items including lifting, pushing, pulling, and positioning components.
Ability to consistently stand for an entire shift.
Knowledge of basic machining practices, materials, and mechanical aptitude.Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with plasma cutting machines is a plus.
Ability to read blueprints and spec sheets is advantageous.
Experience with welding/submerge arc welding is a plus.
Forklift operation skills.
Simple oral communication skills.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
