Packaging Operator – 1st Shift San Diego, CA 92130

Location: San Diego, CA 92130

Schedule: Monday – Friday 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM

Pay Rate: $25.00/hour

Note: Safety shoes are required

MUST have experience with Liquid Packaging using Pipettes and Antibody Vials.

A-Line Staffing is seeking a detail-oriented Packaging Operator for a 1st shift role in San Diego. This position involves hands-on work in a regulated production environment, supporting clinical and commercial product operations through packaging, labeling, and inspection.

Key Responsibilities:

Dispense, inspect, label, and package clinical and commercial products.

Perform finished product packaging in line with internal and external requirements.

Inspect in-process packaging components and remove defective items.

Maintain accurate documentation, including device history records and inventory counts.

Perform basic math calculations to complete batch records.

Assist with inventory activities and participate in safety audits.

Routinely clean packaging stations and processing equipment.

Follow all PPE and gowning procedures to ensure product contamination control.

Properly handle hazardous waste in accordance with procedures.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required.

Minimum of 6 months industry work experience in a related environment.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.

Good documentation practices.

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.

Comfortable with a flexible schedule including rotating shifts and overtime.

Familiar with basic computer usage and general business software.

Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
