•Certified AWS Practitioner (Experience developing and deploying distributed cloud-based applications)

•4+ years of engineering/design experience Linux or UNIX environment/AWS

•2+ years experience with DevOps focused toolset (JIRA, DODAF)

•Agile focused environment (SAFe)

Our Client is seeking TS/SCI AWS Systems Engineers to support the SW Leads and SW Architects. The ideal candidate will have previous experience leading SE teams in a Linux AWS environment with strong architecture and design, detailed design and reviews of designs, code inspections and estimation for proposals. This role is support to groups dedicated to technical design and costing as well as support to groups performing the budgeting, scheduling and tasking of the staff. As the program moves between the different phases of the program, the role will change - up front more technical design, then more process support. It is also expected that this person will work with the engineering matrix on metrics, personnel development and employee assessments for the people on the program or for hiring new personnel.
