Inspecting produce upon receiving. Produce aisle checks, inspecting returns. Completing donations. Stock transferring/cycle counting (produce only). Daily emails to merchandising regarding produce quality.
Produce QA team member with 0-3 years of experience to join our Finance department. This role is crucial for maintaining accurate inventory and ensuring product quality within our produce operations.
In this position, you'll primarily be responsible for performing cycle counts and meticulously compiling and maintaining records of the quantity, type, and value of materials, equipment, merchandise, and supplies in stock, as well as items slated for return. A significant part of your role will involve researching root causes for count discrepancies to ensure our financial records are precise. Additionally, you'll conduct quality checks on produce and play a supportive role in our product recall processes. High school degree or equivalent is required. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence clearly and concisely.
Must be able to speak effectively before groups of customers or associates.
Possess exemplary listening skills to facilitate effective two-way communication.
Strong mathematical aptitude, including the ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
Must be able to read, write, and speak English fluently.
