Job Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Planner Scheduler I to join our team in Juno Beach, Florida. In this long-term contract position, you will play a critical role in coordinating and scheduling maintenance and project activities across nuclear, transmission, and substation operations. This role requires a proactive individual with strong organizational and analytical skills to ensure the successful execution of work plans and compliance with operational standards.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and manage work orders for maintenance and project activities related to nuclear assets in transmission operations.
• Coordinate and schedule transmission activities to ensure seamless project execution and compliance.
• Respond to emergent issues and participate in root cause analysis to prevent future occurrences.
• Lead work management planning meetings to align teams and resources effectively.
• Monitor and track the progress of maintenance and project schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Support event response activities, ensuring operational readiness and effective resolution.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve work management processes and execution.
• Ensure adherence to compliance standards and operational procedures.
• Provide leadership and guidance during storm duty requirements and extended work hours, when necessary.
• Perform additional job-related duties as assigned by management.• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a relevant certification demonstrating attention to detail.
• Six Sigma Yellow Belt certification.
• At least 3 years of experience in areas such as project leadership, substation and transmission operations, or nuclear operations.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance practices for transformers, switch yard assets, or nuclear assets.
• Proven ability to manage compliance and maintain high integrity standards.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on effective communication and leadership.
• Familiarity with project management processes and tools.
• Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree in Business Administration or Engineering and a Six Sigma Green Belt certification or higher.
