Facility and Maintenance Technician

Job Description

Job Purpose:

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine building maintenance tasks in one or more fields (e.g. carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, air conditioning (HVAC), plumbing, etc.).

Duties and responsibilities:

Paint, remodel, and refurbish areas as needed.

Repair, maintain/monitor all equipment and amenities.

Clean windows and glass doors.

Remove and properly dispose of all recyclable materials.

Change light bulbs, interior, and exterior, as needed.

Have all the buildings ready as needed.

On-call maintenance for all facilities, 24/7.

Maintain exterior property, including snow removal.

Cleaning exterior entryway/cigarette receptacles, graffiti removal.

Performs other work-related duties as assigned.

Must be able to work flexible hours.

Inspects building and other structures to determine functional systems and detect malfunctions as needed for repair.

Execute preventive maintenance, according to the program.

Technical Skills:

Knowledge of preventive and corrective maintenance of machines

Knowledge of electricity,

Tool handling

Knowledge of safety standards

Education and other Requirements :

2 years’ experience

Basic understanding of electrical, plumbing, and carpentry

High school education or equivalent is required

Any trade school

Bilingual: Spanish and English Level A1

Must be able to lift 50 pounds

Welding Knowledge

Compress Air Knowledge

Basics knowledge of A/C

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
