The Designer will be responsible for creating detailed technical drawings used in fabrication and assembly of engineered projects. Working closely with designers, engineers, and project managers, the Designer will transform concepts and specifications into precise drawings using Inventor software and AutoCAD.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare accurate 2D and 3D technical drawings using Autodesk Inventor software and AutoCAD.
Review rough sketches, specifications, and design notes to produce final drawings.
Revise drawings based on feedback from project and department leads.
Maintain documentation and drawing archives according to ONEX standards.
Ensure all drawings comply with the project contracts, P&IDs, applicable codes, and ONEX standards.
Collaborate with team members to ensure alignment and accuracy across projects.
Assist in resolving design and documentation issues as needed.
Visit project sites for meetings, project reviews, and site reviews.
Qualifications:
Associate degree or certification in Drafting, Engineering Technology, Architecture, or related field.
Proficient in Autodesk inventor software or equivalent.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Good understanding of design and construction principles.
Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, and schematics.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in drafting, preferably in industrial applications.
