**Job Title: General Production Worker**

**Job Description**

Perform manual and mechanical duties to assist in the operations of a variety of limited equipment and tools in the fabrication and assembly of foam and/or plastic containers. Responsibilities include operating tools and equipment, and reading simple prints, drawings, and specifications.

**Responsibilities**

+ Operate tools and equipment for assembly and fabrication tasks.

+ Read and interpret simple prints, drawings, and specifications.

+ Perform a variety of simple fabrication and assembly operations.

+ Pick parts and supplies from inventory as instructed.

+ Assist in setting up and operating cutting, drilling, saws, glue applicators, assembly tools, drill presses, hand tools, etc.

+ Cut stock to proper dimensions and tolerances as instructed.

+ Perform gluing, taping, flame treating, and labeling operations.

+ Conduct required masking and painting tasks.

+ Review product specifications and perform tests, visual inspections, and dimension checks.

+ Detect any out-of-specification conditions and notify appropriate personnel.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience with assembly operations using tools such as a glue gun and tape measure.

+ Basic math skills.

+ Ability to read simple prints, drawings, and specifications.

+ Understanding of quality standards and safety precautions.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Comfortable working the 2nd shift (2:00pm-10:30pm), with the possibility of 2 hours of overtime daily and some Saturdays.

+ Ability to lift 20-30 lbs.

+ Experience in a potentially loud environment.

The work environment may be loud at times, and the role requires the ability to lift 20-30 lbs. The shift hours are from 2:00pm to 10:30pm, with potential overtime and occasional Saturdays.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ontario, California.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
