**Job Title: Flight Press Machine Operator**

**Job Description**

Join a leading organization in the Power Transmission and Bulk Material Handling Industry, where you will play a crucial role in the Material Handling department, operating equipment to process parts efficiently. As a Flight Press Machine Operator, you will be responsible for setting up and operating machines, ensuring the quality of components produced, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment.

**Responsibilities**

+ Work from process sheets, blueprints, or other written/verbal instructions provided by the supervisor to perform production tasks.

+ Maneuver large, awkward, or heavy parts manually or with a crane.

+ Set up, operate, and tend machines used to process components.

+ Maintain machine and work area in a clean and safe manner.

+ Check and inspect operation against predetermined tolerances.

+ Work in other areas or departments as assigned.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in machine operation, including drilling, tapping, sawing, tape measure usage, band saw operation, coating, painting, grinding, sanding, assembly, polishing, and metal finishing.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Knowledge of production processes, machine operating, and warehouse operations.

**Work Environment**

Work in a dynamic manufacturing environment that can be loud. The position operates on a Monday to Friday schedule from 6:00 AM to 2:30 PM.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Sacramento, California.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
