**Job Title: Assembly Operator**

**Job Description**

The role involves assembling products and operating equipment safely and productively, while ensuring ergonomic practices and manufacturing quality parts and assemblies.

**Responsibilities**

+ Assemble, package, and label products efficiently.

+ Operate equipment and tools, including impact wrench, drill, mallet, screwdrivers, and pneumatic rivet gun.

+ Maintain a continuous level of productivity with supervision.

+ Ensure the production of quality finished goods with minimal issues.

+ Maintain assembly jigs, hand tools, and equipment in good working order.

+ Possess basic product knowledge, including types of wheels, model numbers, bearings, nuts, and bolts.

+ Keep a clean and organized workplace by properly storing tools and hardware, sweeping floors, and disposing of trash.

+ Notify Production Supervisor of tools needing repair, low inventory, and poor quality of assembled products.

+ Accurately read assembly drawings for dimensions, parts list, assembly instructions, and critical quality characteristics.

+ Perform tasks safely, including wearing safety glasses and gloves as per Job Hazard Analysis requirements.

+ Perform other duties as assigned.

**Essential Skills**

+ Experience in manufacturing assembly preferred.

+ Ability to read a tape measure in fractions and decimals.

+ Skills in packaging, assembly, labeling, packing, and general labor.

+ Proficiency in blueprint reading and schematic assembly.

**Additional Skills & Qualifications**

+ Experience in order picking and warehouse operation.

+ General production skills.

**Job Type & Location**

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Saint Charles, Missouri.

**Pay and Benefits**

The pay range for this position is $17.93 - $18.48/hr.
