**Job Title: Aircraft Technician**
**Job Description**
As an Aircraft Technician, you will be responsible for the disassembly and assembly of aircraft parts, including wings, fuselage, and landing gear, following engineering drawings and specifications. You will perform both line maintenance, which includes on-call and scheduled work on various customers' aircraft, and routine maintenance tasks, ensuring airworthiness releases and returning aircraft to service. You will also be tasked with servicing, inspecting, and maintaining aircraft, aircraft engines, and associated components, troubleshooting systems, disassembling, repairing, and reassembling sections and components to maintain fully functioning equipment according to Approved Technical Data.
**Responsibilities**
+ Disassemble and assemble aircraft parts following engineering drawings and specifications.
+ Perform line maintenance and routine maintenance tasks on aircraft.
+ Ensure all departing aircraft are safe and compliant with regulations.
+ Troubleshoot, repair, and reassemble aircraft systems and components.
+ Document all work performed in accordance with applicable standards.
+ Collaborate with the air carrier's maintenance control center.
**Essential Skills**
+ A&P license.
+ 1 - 2+ years’ experience in aircraft maintenance.
+ Boeing aircraft maintenance experience, specifically B737, B757, B767, B777, B747.
+ Troubleshooting and inspection skills.
+ Experience in heavy maintenance, aviation, and military aviation.
**Additional Skills & Qualifications**
+ Valid driver’s license.
+ Ability to frequently stand, walk, and utilize hand dexterity.
+ Ability to lift/push/carry items up to 50 pounds.
+ Ability to work in environments with moving mechanical parts, fumes, airborne particles, or toxic chemicals.
+ Visual acuity to operate equipment and read technical information.
+ Exposure to extreme weather conditions.
+ Willingness to work flexible shifts including nights and weekends.

**Work Environment**
Work is performed at the airport hangar with shifts available during days and nights. Shift schedules include four days, with the first three days consisting of 12-hour shifts, followed by a 6-hour shift. Shift 1 is from Wednesday to Saturday, and Shift 2 is from Sunday to Wednesday.
**Job Type & Location**
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Fort Worth, Texas.
**Pay and Benefits**
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $42.00/hr.
